The defending champions, National University Lady Bulldogs, are off to a 4-0 start in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament, beating the University of the East Lady Warriors in straight sets, 25-12, 25-11, 25-20, at the Mall of Asia Arena on March 1, 2025. Reigning MVP Bella Belen pumped in 18 points, had eight digs, and six receptions for NU, which dominated UE in the first two sets before doing just enough to hold off the Lady Warriors in the last set.
