SC petition seeks to nullify pardon for ex-Iloilo mayor

ILOILO CITY — Former Iloilo City mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog's executive clemency is being challenged before the Supreme Court with a petition seeking to declare it as 'null and void.'

The petition for certiorari and prohibition, filed by former Iloilo City councilor Plaridel Nava II on Wednesday, argued that it was granted in violation of constitutional provisions.
