THE Philippine gaming industry is on track to post more record-high earnings this year with total gross gaming revenue (GGR) projected to reach P450 to P480 billion, the country's top regulatory official said.

In 2024, GGR amounted to P410.5 billion, 24.81 percent higher than 2023's P328.9 billion, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco told reporters on Wednesday, adding that the Philippines remains a dominant force in Asia's gaming market with its 2024 GGR ranking second only to Macau.
