PRIVATELY-LED National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) has cleared its name of any legal wrongdoing in its operations, one of its officials reiterated, following the Singapore International Arbitration Centre's (SIAC) ruling on Feb. 19 backing the power grid franchise holder's case against state-run National Transmission Corp. (Transco) and Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (Psalm).
In a media briefing on Wednesday, NGCP assistant vice president for public relations Cynthia Perez-Alabanza said: "I think it's a vindication of what we have long been saying, that the NGCP has always been complying with its contracts, franchise, and rules and regulations."
