MANILA Electric Company's (Meralco) solar business unit, MSpectrum Inc., is partnering with Meycauayan College to build a 300 kilowatt-peak (kWp) solar photovoltaic rooftop at the latter's building in Bulacan.
Targeted for completion in the third quarter of this year, the project is expected to generate 414,400 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean energy annually, allowing Meycauayan College to reduce 292.48 metric tons in carbon footprint, equivalent to 13,000 trees planted.
