Student dies after collapsing during basketball game

MANILA, Philippines — A private school in Marikina City is under fire for the death of a 23-year-old Grade 11 student who collapsed while playing basketball during the intramurals on Feb. 22.

In a statement, the Our Lady of Perpetual Succor College (OLOPSC)-Marikina confirmed that Shann Mikhail Estaquio was rushed to the hospital after collapsing during a basketball game. He died hours later.
