LISTED food and beverage manufacturer Century Pacific Food Inc. (CNPF) is allocating P3 billion to P4 billion in capital expenditures (capex) this year to boost its production capabilities, an analyst said.

Luna Securities Inc. strategist Annika Angeles, in a report last week, said that CNPF's "planned P3-4 billion capex investment will fund the acquisition of a coconut plant to meet growing demand for coconut products, regular line expansions to support rising sales, and increased capacity in meat and tuna operations."
