JAPANESE electronics manufacturer P.IMES Corp. is investing more than P1.8 billion to expand its medical equipment suspension assembly plant at the Cavite Economic Zone (CEZ), the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) said.
The Japanese firm signed a registration agreement with PEZA for the project last Feb. 13. The expansion, set to start this month, is expected to create more than 200 new jobs.
