Wing spikers Sobe Buena and Lyann De Guzman joined hands to power the Ateneo Blue Eagles to their 25-18, 25-22, 25-18 breakthrough win at UP Fighting Maroons' expense in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on February 23, 2025.
Buena pumped a game-high 17 points including the cross court clincher to lead the Blue Eagles, who snapped a two-game skid and ended the Maroons' two-game winning start to the season.
De Guzman also came through and banged 14 points in the second frame.
