The Ateneo Blue Eagles blanked the UP Fighting Maroons, 25-18, 25-22, 25-18, at the Mall of Asia Arena on February 23, 2025 to claim their first win in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament.
Sobe Buena pumped 17 points including the cross court clincher to lead the Blue Eagles, who snapped a two-game skid and ended the Maroons' two-game winning start to the season.
