ECHOING President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s stance, the Department of Education (DepEd) reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining key education initiatives despite the temporary suspension of $94 million (P4 billion) in USAid-funded projects.
In a letter to US Ambassador MaryKay Carlson, Education Secretary Sonny Angara expressed gratitude for USAid's support but stressed the serious implications of the funding freeze.
