BERLIN — Filipino filmmaker Antoinette Jadaone's latest feature, 'Sunshine,' has won the prestigious Crystal Bear for Best Film at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival's Generation Plus category.

The sports drama, starring Maris Racal, Elijah Canlas, Xyriel Manabat, Jennica Garcia, Annika Co and Meryll Soriano, captivated both the jury and audiences with its emotionally charged exploration of teenage pregnancy, societal pressures, and the resilience of a young gymnast striving to pursue her dreams.
