THE Climate Reality Project, a nonprofit organization founded by former US vice president Al Gore, is launching the Reality Tour to build the political will and public momentum for bold climate commitments leading up to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change's 30th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP30) in Brazil. The Philippines is part of this movement: Tagalog is one of the 12 languages used to stream Gore's presentation on the climate crisis, and Bacolod is one of the local training locations on March 29.
The Climate Reality training equips participants with the skills and network to drive real change in their spheres of influence while pushing their governments to commit to the Paris Agreement. The tour will rally people worldwide to encourage public and private sector decision-makers to take necessary action to avert climate catastrophe.
