Malaysia's PM Anwar Calls for Strong Ties with China To Maintain ASEAN's Economic Resilience
SHENZHEN, China, Feb. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Malaysia officially assumed its role as the 2025 ASEAN Chair. On February 17, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian Prime Minister Yab Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim stated that, to maintain ASEAN's economic resilience, the region should address challenges in three key areas: supply chains, energy security and sustainable development, digital economy and artificial intelligence.
