DAVAO CITY — Mayor Frederick Siao of Iligan City, Lanao del Norte, is facing complaints for graft, grave misconduct and grave abuse of authority in connection with the alleged illegal termination of a contract for the construction of a P590-million New Pala-o Public Market.
In a 21-page complaint filed at the Office of the Ombudsman Mindanao in Davao City on Feb. 18, Iligan City incumbent representative Celso Gomera Regencia and five other individuals who are mostly market vendors accused Siao of irregularities.
