Marcos signs law fixing PCG chief's term

(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed into law a measure fixing the term of office of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) commandant.

Republic Act (RA) 12122, signed by Marcos on Feb. 18, 2025, fixes the PCG commandant's term to three years to ensure the agency's stability.
