MANILA, Philippines — When life throws you lemons, you make lemonade. Cignal entered 2025 of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference with heartbreak as team captain Ces Molina and middle-blocker Riri Meneses announced their departure from the team.

The HD Spikers no longer dwell on what happened and showed they could carry on despite a 12-man lineup after ending the preliminaries with an 8-3 card, sealing the third seed.
