STA. CRUZ, Laguna — The House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal (HRET) has dismissed the petition filed by Antonio Carolino against Maria Jamina Katherine Agarao, who won as representative of the 4th district of Laguna in the 2022 elections.
In a 17-page decision released on Jan. 23, 2025, and signed by Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa, the HRET chairman, the tribunal recognized Agarao as the rightful and legal winner of the said position.
