The Philippine Men's Curling Team clinched a historic gold in the 9th Asian Winter Games after besting out Asia's powerhouse South Korea, Japan, and China. As ironic as it sounds as the Philippines is a tropical country yet managed to flourish in the ice stage, curler Alan Frei shared that this win is all for the Filipino dreamers and a reminder to do what is impossible. "We believe we can inspire young Filipinos and Filipinas to pursue their dreams. This is just the beginning of Curling in the Philippines," Frei who only had two years of experience in Curling said.
