RAHEEM MAKES ROUSING DEBUT, GUIDES UP TO OPENING WIN

UNIVERSITY of the Philippines (UP) got off to a hard-fought 19-25, 25-23, 24-26, 25-16, 18-16 win over University of the East (UE), thanks to a rousing UAAP men's volleyball debut of Olayemi Raheem in the Season 87 opener at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

The Nigerian spiker pumped 25 points on 24 attacks and a block as the Fighting Maroons outlasted the Red Warriors.
