DTI launches industry-specific skills program

THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) wants to expand its industry-specific skills program to address talent shortage in high-growth business sectors.

The agency has teamed up with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) to launch Phase 2 of SkillsUpNet Philippines (SUN PH), a program that provides grants to 10 local enterprises.
