DBP chairmanship eyed for DOF chief
THE Department of Finance (DOF) will take a direct hand in overseeing the operations of the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) under proposed changes to the state-owned financial institution's charter.
Under proposed changes, which have passed third and final reading in both houses of Congress, the finance secretary will become the ex-officio chairman of the DBP board.
