THE Residences at The Westin Manila, located at the heart of Ortigas Center, has fully transitioned to 100-percent renewable energy (RE) since Dec. 26, 2024, in partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES). This makes it the first RLC Residences property to integrate RE under the Department of Energy's Green Energy Option Program, a voluntary program under the Renewable Energy Act of 2008.

This initiative allows qualified end-users to choose RE as their power source, reducing reliance on depleting natural resources like coal and petroleum, lessening carbon emissions and potentially lowering utility costs.
