SINCE its creation on Feb. 14, 2019, under Republic Act 11201, signed by then President Rodrigo Duterte, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) has been serving thousands of homeless or underserved Filipino families.

Through its affiliate agencies — the Pag-IBIG Fund regarding housing loans, and housing programs of the National Housing Authority, the Social Housing Finance Corp. and National Home Mortgage Finance Corp. — the DHSUD, under the leadership of Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, remains focused on leading transformative housing initiatives around the flagship Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, the national housing program for Filipinos of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
