MERALCO blew a nine-point fourth-quarter lead, allowing host New Taipei Kings to secure a 106-96 double overtime victory, sealing the last final four spot in the East Asia Super League (EASL) Home and Away Season 2 Wednesday night at the University of Taipei.
Former Detroit Pistons forward Austin Daye led the Kings' critical uprising in regulation play, including a triple that sent the game into overtime. Regulation play ended at 78-all.
