BACOLOD CITY — Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson has called on Negrenses to be ready for a possible eruption of Kanlaon Volcano that has lately been showing signs of impending explosion.
Lacson's call came as the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported on Monday that the magma in the volcano rose to less than five kilometers from the crater.
