San Pablo City, Laguna – Gubernatorial candidate Sol Aragones has outlined her platform of governance in the four districts of Laguna. On top of her agenda is health and wellness.Aragones has launched several 'Botika ng Bayan' outlets, providing free branded maintenance medicines, particularly benefiting senior citizens. She also aims to streamline the process of securing medical assistance in government hospitals by reducing documentary requirements and ensuring courteous service, vowing to remove arrogant employees. During her tenure as the representative of Laguna's 3rd District, she established multiple dialysis machines in the province, and she now seeks to expand these facilities. She wants to make sure that Laguna residents no longer have to travel to nearby provinces for medical treatment.Education is another priority for Aragones as she plans to expand scholarship opportunities for students even those with satisfactory grades, recognizing that financial struggles often hinder academic performance.Despite her loss in the 2022 gubernatorial race, Aragones remained active in the community and continued her public service efforts as she spearheaded the distribution of canes, wheelchairs, walkers, nebulizers, and medicines to those in need.Aragones is running against Katherine Agapay, Dan Fernandez, and Ruth Mariano-Hernandez. Her running mate is Pewee Perez.
