DICT: 'Love scammers' on the rise

AS Valentine's Day draws near, the Cybersecurity Bureau of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) on Wednesday urged the public to be vigilant against love scams.

'Love scams are on the rise, and they can be devastating, both emotionally and financially. These online fraudsters are good at pretending to be someone they're not, and they'll shower you with love and attention to get what they want — your money,' the DICT said in a Facebook post.
