MANILA, Philippines — Nearly three out of four Filipinos or 73 percent believe that Vice President Sara Duterte should face a Senate impeachment trial for allegedly threatening to hire someone to assassinate President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and Speaker Martin Romualdez, according to a research firm which released the results of its survey Thursday.

Tangere conducted the survey from Feb. 10 to 12, 2025 on 2,400 respondents across the country using a mobile-based platform.to determine public sentiment on the impeachment case.
