Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidate Panfilo "Ping" Lacson is pushing for the institutionalization of the Kadiwa stores to reduce food prices and curb inflation in the country.

At a press conference ahead of their proclamation rally in Iloilo City Thursday, Lacson said his proposal to institutionalize the Kadiwa program would eliminate middlemen, a major driver of high agricultural costs.
