MANILA, Philippines — Former president Rodrigo Duterte is expected to attend the proclamation rally of the eight candidates for senator of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino - Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) in San Juan City this Thursday.
In a statement, the party said that it was expected to demonstrate its unity and strength under the leadership of Duterte, its party chairman, and Sen. Robin Padilla, its party president, to emphasize its "Tapang at Malasakit" (courage and compassion) brand of governance.
