THROUGH the High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP), the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2) has turned over agricultural equipment worth more than P10.3 million to various farmers, and fishers cooperatives and associations (FCAs) across Cagayan, Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino provinces.
A significant move to empower farmers and fisherfolk in the Cagayan Valley region (Region 2), the turnover ceremony on Feb. 3 at the Southern Cagayan Valley Research Center Annex in Maguirig, Solana in Cagayan province also marked a major milestone in the region's agricultural development.
