As part of its preparatory activities for reviewing the Maritime Labor Convention (MLC) 2006, members of the Special Tripartite Committee (STC) convened at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Central Office in Intramuros, Manila, on Jan. 31, 2025. Conveyed during the meeting were the summary of discussions and status of outcomes from the previous STC meetings and the proposals for amendment to the Code of the MLC 2006 as amended.
