CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Field offices of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 3 led simultaneous cleanup drives in major river systems and waterways of Aurora, Bataan and Bulacan recently in celebration of World Wetlands Day (WWD).
With a theme "Protecting Wetlands For Our Common Future," the cleanup activity was aimed at raising awareness of the importance of proper waste disposal and the wetlands' vital role for both people and the planet.
