THE House of Representatives said it would not push the Senate to hasten the impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte.
Senate President Francis Escudero said on Monday that the trial would likely start after the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on July 28, 2025.
