FROM 183 candidates for the Senate, there are now 66 candidates: 20 independents and 46 with parties. The Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas, an electoral alliance of the administration, is fielding 12 candidates (Abalos, Binay, Revilla, Cayetano, Lacson, Lapid, Marcos, Pacquiao, Sotto, Tolentino, Tulfo and Villar) with two immediately declaring they were independents: returning senator Ping Lacson and reelectionist Imee Marcos. Lacson appears in the TV ad for the Alyansa, while Marcos does not.

The PDP-Laban has six candidates (Bondoc, Go, del Rosario, Hinlo, Lambino and Salvador), with an additional three listed as guest candidates (Marcoleta, Quiboloy and Rodriguez).
