PETROGREEN Energy Corp. (PGEC) has secured National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) approval to connect the second phase of the 33.831-megawatt-peak (MWp) Limbauan solar power project (LSPP-2) in Isabela to the Luzon grid.

PGEC said that NGCP issued the approvals to project developer BKS Green Energy Corp. (BKSGEC), a unit of Rizal Green Energy Corp. (RGEC) that in turn is a joint venture between PGEC and Japan's Taisei Corp.
