AFTER dilly-dallying and running around like headless chickens for weeks, the impeachment movers and their cohorts suddenly found themselves railroading a political venture that had been long planned but somehow could not take off the ground.
In an incredible but unsurprising lightning speed, akin to a bullet train in blazing transit, the impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte was signed by 215 members of the House of Representatives, with an additional 25 of them putting their unaccepted e-signatures, but taking their oath to validate their assent to the impeachment document transmitted to the Senate.
