THE country's gross international reserves (GIR) fell to a nine-month low in January, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported late on Friday.

At $103 billion, the January count fell from last December's $106.26 billion and was the lowest dollar since April's 2024 $102.65 billion.
