MANILA, Philippines — Import Deon Thompson and young guard Adrian Nocum stepped up big as Rain or Shine ousted Converge, 112-103, on Sunday in their PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup do-or-die Game 3 quarterfinals at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Thompson fired 20 of his conference-high 34 points, while the shifty Nocum added 25 as the two formed a deadly duo that carried the team's offense en route to beating Converge in their rubber match.
