THE northeast monsoon or amihan will prevail in Metro Manila and Luzon where isolated light rains would be likely, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
Meanwhile, the shear line, the convergence of hot and cold air, is affecting Bicol Region, Quezon and Aurora while the intertropical convergence zone is bringing scattered rains and thunderstorms in Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region and Palawan, weather specialist Robert Badrina said.
