FIRE broke out at the Makati Medical Center's newborn intensive care unit on Friday morning, Feb. 7.The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the blaze started on the 5th floor of the hospital at 8:29 a.m.Fire fighters said that the fire was extinguished 30 minutes later, at about 9 a.m.The BFP has yet to disclose the number of casualties and the extent of damage caused by the fire.
