THE National Anti-Poverty Commission-Formal Labor and Migrant Workers Sectoral Council (NAPC-FLMWSC) has expressed support for the P200 across the board salary increase among private sector workers approved by the House of Representatives.
Since the enactment of Republic Act 6727, or the Wage Rationalization Act 36 years ago, wage rates in provincial and rural areas lag significantly behind those in the National Capital Region, said NAPC-FLMWSC Alternate Sectoral Representative Danilo Laserna.
