Ex-police general named as DDB chief

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed former police general Oscar Valenzuela as the new chairman of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB).

Valenzuela, a former undersecretary for Peace and Order of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), replaced Catalino Cuy, who has been DDB chairman since 2018.
