(UPDATE) THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is considering scrapping the EDSA Busway as part of a broader effort to improve traffic flow in Metro Manila.
MMDA Chairman Romando Artes said on Wednesday that the proposal aligns with plans to enhance the capacity of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) system, which would serve as an alternative means of mass transportation for commuters currently relying on buses.
