MANILA, Philippines —The country's labor market improved in December, as the number of unemployed Filipinos declined, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Thursday.

The country's unemployment rate dropped to 3.1 percent in December from 3.2 percent a month earlier, matching the 3.1 percent recorded in the same period in 2023.
