MANILA, Philippines — Converge overcame a slow start, pouring the heat in the last three quarters to beat Rain or Shine, 130-118, to move within a victory from reaching the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup semifinals, on Wednesday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

After allowing the Elasto Painters to shoot a scorching 75 percent from the field in the opening frame, the FiberXers came charging back from an early 13-point deficit by putting together a solid offensive edfort in the last three periods.
