MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Risa Hontiveros urged President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to certify as urgent the proposed wage increase bill amid rising prices of basic goods and services.
The senator, in a statement on Wednesday, said "millions of Filipino workers cannot afford further delays" in receiving higher wages.
