FORD Philippines has announced that the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 is now a regular part of its vehicle lineup, following strong demand since it launched as a limited release at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) last year.
"We're happy to share that the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 will remain in our performance lineup," said Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines. "It's a personal favorite of mine, and we can't wait for more customers to enjoy its power and versatility."
Originally limited to 300 units, the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 quickly became one of Ford's top sellers, drawing attention at dealerships and test drive events. Built by Ford Performance, this pickup has a 3.0-liter V6 Twin-Turbo EcoBoost Engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering 397 PS of power and 583 Newton-meters of torque. It also features an electronically controlled active exhaust system.
Its suspension is upgraded with FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shock absorbers, designed by Ford Performance to handle rough terrain. Drivers can personalize settings like steering, suspension, exhaust mode, and four-wheel drive configuration through the MyMode "R" button, making it easy to switch between on- and off-road settings.
For the first time in the Ranger Raptor lineup, the 3.0L V6 model has a permanent four-wheel drive system with an electronically controlled two-speed transfer case and front and rear locking differentials. It also comes with up to seven selectable drive modes, including the off-road-focused Baja Mode for high-speed runs on rough terrain.
"By offering the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 along with the 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel variant, pickup fans can now choose which Raptor best fits their needs and lifestyle," added Simoes.
The Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 starts at P2.739 million and comes with a 5-year warranty. It's available in Arctic White, Absolute Black, Blue Lightning, Command Grey, and Code Orange (with an additional P15,000 cost).
