(UPDATE) BEHIND every successful man there is a woman.Chloe San Jose, girlfriend of the double Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, has always been proud of her partner's achievements.During the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) 2024 Awards Night, San Jose was with Yulo's side, witnessing how delighted people were with the Olympian's presence.San Jose, who wore a pastel pink that complimented her blonde hair and fair complexion, shared how Yulo got her heart and goes all out in supporting him.'I think it's not only for Caloy but anyone I feel love for. Family, and friends I will support no matter what. But it just so happens Caloy is the closest to my heart and I will do anything for him,' she told The Manila Times.Attending numerous awards nights and events with Yulo, San Jose cherished every experience.'You know it's really different, different people, but the support and love for Caloy every time that he receives an award is still the same,' she added.With eyes all on them wherever they go, San Jose downplayed the idea of having so much attention and wants to remain humble on all the hype.'I just have to be really thankful all the time. If I am not grateful then what is this all for? I just have to take it all in one day at a time, and it has been overwhelming, even if I am not Caloy I can feel the pressure, and everyone's eyes on him, because I am always on his side to support.''We just like to be humble, and grounded, so we don't lose our way,' she added. Yulo received the Athlete of the Year Award by PSA last Jan. 28, at the Manila Hotel.He was recognized for his historic finish in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, where he gifted the country with two golds.Yulo and San Jose have been the topic of social media for quite some time after Yulo's mother (Angelica Yulo) expressed her disdain for her son's partner.Still, love conquers all as Yulo and San Jose remain inseparable.
